Connect Groups

At The Rock Church, we’re not just interested in attracting crowds of people and holding events! We’re interested in every person that calls The Rock Church home to be involved in a Connect Group.

People need to be in real relationships with other people, especially in times of difficulties and as we celebrate the accomplishments in our life. That’s why everyone who attends The Rock Church should plan on getting involved with a Connect Group.

How do I join a Connect Group?

Connect groups happen 3 times a year and last 10-15 weeks. The groups are made up of people who attend church together, share meals together, pray together, study the Bible together, go to movies together, etc. Connect Groups play a significant role in the life of The Rock Church in allowing the community to grow together on a daily basis.

Why are they called Connect Groups?

We call them Connect Groups because that’s exactly what they are; opportunities for people to connect in Community. Connect groups are formed organically around two themes: sermon based and common interest. If you want to go deeper in the word Connect Groups are for you. If you want to grow your golf game or possibly enhance your shopping skills, Connect Groups are for you. Don’t do life alone; join a Connect Group.

What should I expect at a Connect Group?

Every Connect Group looks different, because it’s made up of different people with different interests, schedules, and passions. Some groups might share a meal together. Others might volunteer time at various charities or get together to study the Bible. No matter the specifics, every Connect Group will function under the vision of The Rock Church.
